Badgeville City Tour Seattle Recap
Gamification is not a trend, it’s a movement. Over 100 top business leaders from the Seattle area joined us this Wednesday, where attendees listened to a series of engaging speakers, networked with attendees, and took in the pleasure of delicious cocktails and canapés in the loft space of Pravda Studios in Capitol Hill.
To recap, the event culminated with keynote Sean O’Driscoll of Ant’s Eye View who took the stage to discuss the Journey of the Engaged Enterprise and how gamification can impact and accelerate the stages on that Journey.
Before that, the stage was graced by the presence of our partners—Jim Petty of Bazaarvoice, Bill Piwonka of Janrain, and An Le of Yammer, all of whom who addressed the common theme: gamification is more than just points and badges, but a tool for behavior management that has real results for serious businesses.
We also were very proud to hear how results for Autodesk’s trial marketing team far surpassed what they had expected in trial usage and downloads, when Dawn Wolfe took the stage to discuss the gamification program built with Badgeville and Resource Interactive. Dawn noted that 85% of Autodesk customers trial the software before purchasing, so increasing trial usage is a huge win for her team.
(Thank you to our speakers and participants!)
Soon, we will be sharing video footage from the event, so if you were unable to make it, you can listen to the comments and insights from all the speakers who took the stage in Seattle. If you’d like to join us at a future event, I highly recommend requesting an invitation to the Badgeville Summit, this Aug 8-9 in San Francisco (details here).
As always, should you want to be a part of our future events, please email events@badgeville.com. Here you can request an invitation, submit speaking proposals, and request a city tour stop near you.
